The Kraken Roasting Scale
The Kraken Scale is our unique way of measuring the depth and richness of each blend.
The STRONG brews in black at the top of the scale represent our very dark and double roasts. Great for espresso, in a French press, or drip.
The DARK roast in dark brown on the second tier of the scale are for dark roasts; for example, Blackbeard’s Sumatra.
The MEDIUM roast shown in toffee brown will describe our medium bodied roasts, like Anne Bonny’s House Blend.
The LIGHT roast as seen on the lowest tier of the scale denotes a light roast coffee, such as Calico Jack’s Light Roast.
